About Our Team
Our team who have arranged these exclusive Battle of Britain Tours are former fast jet pilots and military leaders with an extensive knowledge and understanding of the Battle of Britain.
Our Chairman is Air Commodore Rick Peacock-Edwards CBE AFC FRAeS FCIM whose Father was a Decorated Battle of Britain pilot who also flew in many other campaigns during World War 2. He is officially acclaimed as an ‘ACE’ because of the number of aircraft that he shot down.
Your guest speakers at the private dinners also lecture on cruise ships and at business and military events around the country and overseas. They will be able to engage with you and help you with your personal questions.
The Venues
All the sites that we will visit have been carefully selected because of the great significance of each airfield and location during the Battle of Britain, and in some cases because of the incredible memorials and monuments listing and ‘remembering the few who fought so bravely’.
Most of the sites have been carefully restored and many have had £millions of pounds spent in modern – and many emotionally moving – interactive visuals and features that you can operate for personal experiences.
You will be able to meet and talk to the engineers in action who have renovated and continue to renovate Spitfires, Hurricanes and Messerschmits in the Heritage Hangar at Biggin Hill. If you book in advance you can sit in a Spitfire or be adventurous and fly in a converted two seater Spitfire. These facilities will help you, your children and your grandchildren experience the full story.
